Illustration Friday: Wind
How about a weather vane? Even though I grew up on a farm, we never had one. But really, is anyone actually certain of the agricultural value of knowing which direction the wind is blowing anyway? Even so, I still think they're pretty neat to look at.

Great idea! great concept!
Hi, came across your blog during lunch time. I like your drawing. Keep up the good work.
Nice job! I'd like one too.
I like your style. I'll look for your work again on IF.
Thanks for the "quiet" message on my blog, nora jayne! Very much appreciated. Take care!
"Ma, the winds a blown' North East. Get yer hat, it's corn pickin' time!"
Cool old time weather vane, I like the patina on it too.
Great idea like the rusty effect on it! Good work
It looks very 3-D.. I like the colour, good idea!
What a wonderful portfolio. As a fellow Pennsylvanian, I must say I'm proud that you noticed my work. Don't you wish you had more time to do this kind of thing more often. It's not often you bump into local talent! Your style is so whimsical, yet SO dimensional. Do you use Photoshop or Painter?
Great color and look to your weather vane and I like them as well. Very creative idea for the "windy" theme this week.
Thanks for the great comments! And to think I wasn't sure if I should even post this one.
Photoshop or Painter? For this one, Illustrator and Photoshop, but for my later work, mostly Painter with some Photoshop thrown in only if I need it.
